Questions to ask before you book -
• What facilities does the coach have?
Most coaches have air conditioning, reclining seats and on touring coaches, hot and cold drinks facilities as well as on board toilets
• I am tall. Does your coach have good legroom?
A standard coach has up to 53 seats with better legroom than on a
train or plane. Many operators now offer club class seating with extra
legroom
• What standard of hotel will we be staying in?
Operators will tell you the standard of hotels - 2, 3 and 4 star accommodation is the norm. Bedrooms will be twin or double with en suite facilities, but triple or family rooms are often available on request. Single rooms may carry a supplement and are often limited in the number available
• What meals are included
Most tours will include Dinner and Breakfast
• Are excursions included during the holiday?
Most tours will include excursions and entrance to local attractions in the price
• Is travel insurance included or extra?
Some operators include this in the price of the tour. Others will offer a reasonable priced policy
• Can I travel alone?
Of course. Coach holidays are a great way to make new friends. There may be a supplement for a single room
• I have a disability. Can I travel?
Some coach operators have special facilities for disabled travellers but you should discuss your needs and any special requests before you book
• How long will we be travelling?
When you make your booking your tour operator should be able to provide you with a detailed itinerary with approximate timings. Comfort stops are usually made during long journeys
